Farzad's Universal 1° Spot Meter comparison test
A Comparison table for old and new (35mm, D-Slr, Medium Format) 
Spot Metering / Partial Metering cameras 
based on 1° (degree) spot angle (acceptance) to match the 
Spot Metering power of  the Pentax Digital / Analog (Standard) 1° Spot meter

How the On-Camera Spot Meters are rated
 (please note: If what you see here does not please you, 
you can change the rules and produce the results that make you happy!)

1) Start with 10 stars: **********
 2) Subtract 3 *** for the lack of a distinct spot frame in the viewfinder.
   Please note: Accuracy demands a distinct frame for measuring
   small areas.
 3) Subtract 1 * if less than 100% of the spot angle (Sensitivity /
   Acceptance) is measured
 4) Take away stars depending on the size of the spot angle with a normal lens using the following criteria:
9° or more  subtract 5 stars *****
8° to 8.99° subtract 4 stars ****
7° to 7.99° subtract 3 stars ***
6° to 6.99° subtract 2 stars **
5° to 5.99° subtract 1 star  *
0° to 4.99° subtract 0 star
